TIC (well, maybe?)

I actually have found myself simply doing the tasks for someone in my company who has time and again proven to be incapable of following a simple set of instructions. After getting tired of having to repeatedly point out mistakes and request corrections, I just started doing everything myself rather than delegating certain tasks, and have mostly eliminated this person from the equation. This has actually saved time vs. having to explain things multiple times.

I am very patient with people when it comes to them not understanding something - heck, I recognize that I am still learning my own current role and have a long way to go before I'll feel fully competent - but when the issue is simply failure to pay attention, read, and/or proofread for simple typos, I lose patience fairly quickly. So, I feel your pain. Not sure what the answer is, honestly.
